Wesley Community Centre

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing flat roof to a community centre building that had suffered from historic water ingress. ALB Applied Waterproofing was appointed to deliver a full waterproofing upgrade to resolve ongoing leaks affecting the spaces below.

The works included the installation of a PIR insulation system to provide a thermal upgrade, followed by the application of a single-ply waterproofing system across the entire roof area. Due to internal works taking place concurrently, the programme required a fast-tracked approach.

Labour levels were increased to meet the tight schedule, allowing the roof build-up to be completed within four days. Waterproofing specialists remained on site for a further three days to complete all heat-welded seams, ensuring the system was fully sealed and compliant.
