MCR ACADEMY ACCOMMODATION

This project involved the installation of a complete waterproofing system to nine newly constructed balconies within a residential accommodation development in Didsbury, Manchester.

ALB Applied Waterproofing Ltd carried out the application of liquid-applied waterproof membranes across all balcony and terrace areas in preparation for future trafficked and decking systems. Particular attention was given to detailing at upstands, thresholds, and balustrade penetrations to ensure long-term performance and watertight integrity.

All balustrade bases were fully sealed, and the waterproofing system was integrated seamlessly with the surrounding construction to meet design and performance requirements.
