This project involved the full replacement of existing apartment balconies following the failure of the original waterproofing build-up. The previous system had been incorrectly detailed and was no longer providing adequate protection.

ALB Applied Waterproofing Ltd installed a new, fully compliant balcony waterproofing system across the entire apartment block, covering approximately 440m². The works were coordinated with the installation of new balcony structures and included full substrate preparation, installation of the new waterproofing build-up, detailing to perimeters and penetrations, and integration with adjacent finishes.

The completed system provides a durable, long-term waterproofing solution designed to protect the structure and extend the service life of the balconies.
