ALB Applied Waterproofing was appointed to deliver liquid-applied waterproofing works to multiple terrace and balcony areas across three levels of a landmark development in central London’s Trafalgar Square. The project was delivered for Tier 1 contractor McLaren Construction (Major Projects).

The scope included liquid-applied waterproofing installations to terraces and balconies, as well as detailed waterproofing works to plinths within plant room areas. These works were carried out alongside ALB Roofing Developments, who delivered the flat roofing systems to the main roof deck, including areas accommodating solar installations, plant room roofs, and surrounding slate works to the mansard structure.

The project required close collaboration between trades and careful sequencing due to its high-profile location. The combined works delivered a fully integrated waterproofing and roofing package meeting both performance and architectural requirements.
